Saylorsburg, PA., February 16th, 2012: Three practice dates are scheduled for Borgers Speedway Saturday March 31, April 7, and April 14, with April 21 slated as the season opener. These dates are tentative pending on the final coat of asphalt being laid and will change. The asphalt plant opens April 1 and Borgers is first on the list but Northeast Site would like 60 degrees to pave. After the final coat is laid the track has to set for at least one week. We will run practice on the base coat but we will not race until the final coat is laid. The schedule will be adjusted accordingly.
Dirt Wingless 600 Sprints, Asphalt Wingless 600 Sprints, All-Star and Jr. Slingshots, Karts, and Micro-Stocks will run on a weekly basis. ATQMRA Three Quarter Midgets combined with the Asphalt 600 Sprints will run when the ATQMRA tour schedule permits. We intend to run the Asphalt Wingless 600 Sprints weekly if we have six or more cars and give them their own separate division. The XCEL 600 Modifieds will be on the card as their tour schedule permits.
Slingshot Tour dates include Gold Tour on June 23 with a Junior Nationals and All-Star Silver Nationals on October 13.
