Borgers October Schedule

Borger's Speedway OctoberFEST revised schedule - 600 Wingelss driver's, check it out! Borger's Speedway has made some revisions to their October schedule of events. "The driver's asked and Steve & Rich delivered," says Glenn Borger owner of Borger's Speedway, "this will be our best OctoberFEST yet!"

With the help of C&B Race Products, wingless sprint car aficionado Chuck Clark and Neptune Research, Borger's Speedway is proud to offer a Wingless 600 OctoberFEST points fund. The wingless 600 OctoberFEST will be similar to the 270 wingless OctoberFEST, with 4 Saturday night events. A driver's best 3 event nights will count towards the month end points tally. $1,000.00 will be awarded to the overall points champion, with the top 5 overall taking home an additional $500.00 total. The registration will also be the same as it was announced last week for the 270 wingless. A pre-registration fee of $80.00 will cover all 4 nights of racing for a driver. The pre-registration can be paid up until opening night. After that, a driver can pay per week at $30.00 for the car entry. There will be a $20.00 pit pass charge per night.

"We are still offering up Wingless 600's on Fridays also, this will give a driver a chance to hone their skills on Friday nights and then put them to use on Saturday nights for the big money points fund", stated co-promoter Rich Raidline.

Another change that will affect another 600cc division, is the schedule change for Doug Borger's Xcel Chassis 600 Sportsman. The door banging 600 Sportsman division will now call Fridays their home at Borger's Speedway. With this scheduling change comes a OctoberFEST points fund for this division as well. Xcel Chassis will sponsor a $500.00 award to the overall OctoberFEST champion with an 18 car average field. In addition to the OctoberFEST points championship, Doug Borger's 600 Sportsman will also be holding a special Friday night big $ race titled the 600 Sportsman Shootout. Details are still be finalized on this race, but time trials and heat races will set up the field. This race will take place on Friday October 21st.

Saturday October 1st - All Star Slingshots, Stage One Modifieds, Wingless 270 Sprints OctoberFEST Round #1, Wingless 600 Sprints OctoberFEST Round #1 Jr. Slingshots $300 to win with 20 cars.

Friday October 7th - Karts, Quads, Wingless 600 Sprints, Jr. Slingshots, All Star Slingshots OctoberFEST Round#2, Xcel Chassis 600 Sportsman OctoberFEST Round #2

Saturday October 8th - All Star Slingshots, Stage One Modifieds, Wingless 270 Sprints OctoberFEST Round #2, Wingless 600 Sprints OctoberFEST Round #2 Outlaw Quads $250 to win with 16 quads.

Friday October 14th - Karts, Quads, Wingless 600 Sprints, Jr. Slingshots, All Star Slingshots OctoberFEST Round#3, Xcel Chassis 600 Sportsman OctoberFEST Round #3

Saturday October 15th - All Star Slingshots "Roy Smith Memorial" $555 to win!, Stage One Modifieds "Roy Smith Memorial" ,Wingless 270 Sprints OctoberFEST Round #3, Wingless 600 Sprints OctoberFEST Round #3
